How fast is Solana running right now?

Throughput, slot time and epoch progress read directly from public Solana RPC, refreshed every 30 seconds. User transactions are shown separately from validator votes, so the number you see is the one that matters.

Why split votes out?

Validators send a vote transaction for most slots. Votes are a large share of all transactions, but they are consensus overhead, not user activity. Non-vote TPS is the honest measure of demand.

What slot time tells you

Slot time is the sample period divided by the slots produced in it. A sudden, sustained rise means leaders are skipping slots or the cluster is under stress.

How the epoch ETA works

An epoch is 432,000 slots. The ETA multiplies the remaining slots by the measured average slot time, so it moves as the network speeds up or slows down.
